Identification of suppliers

Helse Sør-Øst, the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Autority, needs to know exactly whom has access to our systems at any given time.

To do so in a secure manner, a new mandatory identification procedure is implemented from November 20, 2019. The procedure will ensure the validation of the identity of everyone with access to Helse Sør-Øst systems using photo ID and proper documentation.

This procedure will increase trust and confidence in the identify of anyone working on Helse Sør-Øst systems.

In other words, if you as an external supplier need access to Helse Sør-Øst systems, you will have to show valid identification before you gain access.

Identification of suppliers working via remote access

Employees of suppliers working on Helse Sør-Øst systems from the suppliers’s location through remote access shall provide identification with a valid photo ID to their employer. This must be shown while signing a non-disclosure agreement. A witness at the supplier must be present to certify that he/she has seen the correct identification to confirm that the employee in question is who he/she claims to be.
